Inspect the mix of architectural styles at St. Andrew's Church, a 19th-century British Anglican church. Built in 1894 and consecrated in 1904, the church commemorates many people, including the Sherifa of Wazzan, Emily Keene, who brought the cholera vaccine to Morocco. As you walk through the religious site, notice the combination of Moorish and British styles, including the bell tower resembling a minaret. Visit the church's graveyard, where well-known individuals such as writers, generals, and bankers lie buried. St. Andrew's Church is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

In Tangier on a Sunday, we are usually at our Uk church so sought it out. The service had just started. An eclectic mix of congregation as would be expected, but God was worshipped well that Sunday.

Historic Anglican Church in Tangier.
-
Beautiful place with a rich history
-
Well i went many times, but unfortunately i always find it close.
-
Our Queen, Victoria, not a Elizabeth, donated this church to the British community of Tangier. A clean and tidy cemetery is located just off the entrance. The interior is surprisingly spartan, and has a strong resemblance to old synagogues.
-
A quiet haven in the bussle that is Tangiers. Church is locked but key is available. Touching commonwealth graves site for RAF pilots.
