  • I visited Macro Fossiles Kasbah three years ago on a tour. Unfortunately I had gotten very sick and have much better memories of the toilet there rather than the attraction. Even so I enjoyed what I.....  more »
  • It was a very interesting place to visit we had a guided tour of the whole Factory everything was explained to us from picking the stone to cutting and polishing a lot of work definitely goes into it....  more »

  • A veritable cornucopia of fossils and minerals, all found locally. Some of the pieces are spectacular. The prices aren't the cheapest but the standard of workmanship is high. Worth a visit.
  • Beware of the tourist trap! Aside from the fact that the only reason tours bring you here is to entice you to spend your disposable income, this place is awesome. They hand carve sinks, tables, murals and an assortment of other household items from slabs of rock that once sat at the bottom of the ocean hundreds of millions of years ago. All of the slabs are filled with fossils of cephalopods or squids or jellyfish or starfish. Wicked cool place to stop and gaze into Morocco's past.
  • Very cool objects, furniture and jewelry made out of fossils from the surrounding mountains! The quick tour was interesting to see how they create the pieces from giant rock slabs. The prices aren't too bad and there isn't really any pressure to buy anything. We got some jewelry and simple pieces for our house. There was lots of really cool creations though.
  • Amazing! Sea fossils embedded in sedimentary rock 300 to 500 million years old is transformed into tables, sinks, ornamental pieces, jewelry. Every piece has visible fossils in rock harder than marble.
