Quartier Habous, Casablanca

Neighborhood · Other
Dotted with small souks and souvenir shops, Quartier Habous dates back to the 1920s. Stroll through the neat alleyways and see how colonial architecture alternates with traditional Maghrebi houses. If you get tired of browsing through the market stalls offering Moroccan handicrafts, find a cafe and relax over a glass of hot mint tea. This atmospheric neighborhood also features a royal palace, several mosques, and a pasha's courthouse.
