  • I visited Notre Dame de Lourdes shortly after visiting Hassan II Mosque. They provide an interesting contrast in ways a building glorifies God / Allah. Both buildings use masterful craftsmanship...

  • Designed by a glass artist from Chartres, the vertical stained glass panels brilliantly illustrate familiar Catholic foundational stories but in a gloriously colorful way. The floor to ceiling panels line the two elongated walks of the church with the light diffusing differently on one side from the other, dependent upon the sun. Clever hidden images, like one of the Paris Church of Notre Dame can be found. Closes early some days so check hours.
  • Interesting church built in brutalist style. However, the hours are not visible anywhere so we went there in vain, as we could not get in. We were told it opens at 2PM and we went there at noon.
  • The glass windows and inside decorations were lovely.
  • An example of European modernist architecture. This Catholic church was built in 1956 and it is notable for its elongated concrete entrance and its stunning stained-glass windows, which were designed by noted French artist Gabriel Loire. You can attend concerts there.
  • Beautiful but small. The murals on the walls are breathtaking
