(4.2/5 based on 190 reviews on the web)
Explore the rich collection of Orthodox icons behind the altar of . The church was built in Serbian-Byzantine style on the grounds of a 19th-century church that was destroyed by fire. Its size, shape, and large octagonal domes make it the most prominent building in town if you're looking down from the fortress walls. You're likely to see believers light candles in front of the iconostasis. The church treasures include more than 150 Greek, Russian, and Serbian icons, as well as clerical vestments, liturgical objects, and other valuables, most of which were gifts from Kotor's notable families. • Although the tiny church is not all overly accessorized the icons are well loved by local faithful. It doesn't take much time, but is sure is worth it.
  • Compared to the Cathedral, is the most gorgeous Church. The new building itself was. With colorful banners hung on the outer wall of the Church. Step tile and icon is beautiful inside. It was free admission.
