  • We were staying in Kotor and rented a car. If you're going up Lovcen, driving yourself is the best way to do it, but you need a confident driver, in good weather it's not too bad, hairpin turns and na...  read more »

  • We got a taxi ride up the hair pin bends from Cetinje although it is possible to hike it. The views from the top of Jezerski are breathtaking and Njegos' modernist mausoleum no less so
  • very cool. but beware, the road for the monument opens only when the snow thaws up. i.e. visit only in the summer. not like me;)
  • Awesome place. The view from the top, just as from viewpoints along serpentine road is brearhtaking. We went there early in the morning, so there was no traffic, but when we were going back the traffic was pretty high for those narrow mountain, serpentine roads (we had to go in reverse few times to find a place where we can pass by some buses). So it is better to go early and avoid as much traffic as you can. The experience is really amazing and you shouldn't have any doubts about this adventure :)
  • Very beautiful national park. We were at the peak of the mountain to see the resting place of Njegoš. From there we could see hole Montenegro. There is also a restaurant with very good food. We ate till we exploded. The national park is also very nice for wandering.
  • Loved the views of Montenegro and enjoyed the drive too.
  • A beautifull place. You can first go to Njegos and see a beautifull view of Montenegro. After that you can go to the National Park and have a bbq with your friends/family. And it's also really good if you're there with small children, you have a basket, footbal field and a lot of grass to play games on. There's also a little playground.
