  • Must visit!
  • It is one of the oldest churches in the coastal region. According to the preserved written records, this church was founded in the year 840 Benedictine monks as their abode, and then passed into the hands of Franciscans. Here was the oldest school in Budva. In the Church were found a large number of old graves. For an extended period of time was the storage location of the archaeological collections of artifacts discovered in the necropolis in Budva. It is now used for art exhibitions and concerts of classical music.

  • Near the church there is a playground, where are all the tourists that like to be photographed against the backdrop of ancient buildings overlooking a beautiful Bay with yachts. This church is the oldest here and maybe even in the country. Built around 840g. benedektincami from Spain. Not understand where is the Church and where it is at all. Because it is built into the fortress. When the icon was kept here the miraculous Virgin Mary. But now she is in St John's Church. Even in the great Church acoustics, concerts. As a church it is already running. It's sort of a Museum and concert hall.
