  • Another beautiful old church with a most unusual fresco behind the alter and well worth a visit. Even the outside is pleasant and the square in front is a great place to meet.
  • In a country where East meets West, where are the temples of different faiths each sacred is worth exploring. The more the Church of St. John should be on our list of interesting objects. We were there twice during the day and in the evening when it is beautifully lit. After visiting the worth of coffee in the square and enjoy the views and the atmosphere of the old town.

  • The old town of Budva, characterised by a typical Mediterranean architecture, houses the main Catholic Church of Sant'Ivan, in the 7th century, which preserves paintings and icons by Venetian artists of the 15th-17th centuries. The Church houses a library and archives that preserve valuable specimens of ancient holy books. The belfry simple and proportionate characterizes the profile of the town.

  • A beautiful place!
  • This is one of the oldest churches in the coastal area, it is considered that was built in the 7th century. The Cathedral was damaged by the earthquake of 1667, after which it was rebuilt several times, while its high tower, which overlooks the town, was built in the year 1867, next to the Church. The church includes some objects of cultural and historical value, and among its many old icons, the most visible is one of the icons of the Virgin Mary with Christ. It is called Madonna of Budva or Great Panagiiej. In the year 1807 was transferred from the Church of St. Mary the Virgin and is now considered the patron saint of the city and its inhabitants, defending them from the plague and pirate raids.

  • Very beautiful Catholic Church with an impressive Bell-Tower in the Gothic style. There are many icons of the Renaissance. Just as the Renaissance, Greek. There's even an icon works (supposedly) the St. Luke-a portrait of the Virgin Mary with Jesus or the Virgin and Budva is considered miraculous. The complex consists of the Church, the Bell Tower and the Bishop's Court. Inside richly decorated in light blue tones.
