As you approach the site from Budva's vibrant promenade, you'll observe its rugged walls, which preserve remnants of numerous cultures, spanning the 6th century BCE to the present day. Tour the narrow Venetian streets, see Roman baths, and visit museums that preserve ancient treasures, medical instruments, and miniature multicolored glass vessels where sailors kept their loved ones' tears, according to tradition. • Spent a couple of hours here as part of a day tour, the old town is much the same as the old town in Dubrovnik. Although our visit was short it still made us wish we spent a couple of days there.
  • Oldtown small, walled and with access to the sea. a pleasure stroll in the narrow pedestrian streets... totally recommended!!

  • Budva old town is a small, very crowded and noisy. All lower floors are occupied by souvenir shops and bars. Feeling of antiquity and ancient times no. The most insipid old town from all that we've seen in Montenegro. Next door to the old town comes to dense building concrete Beach similar houses. All this greatly disfigures and frustrating. Sometimes it's hard to even catch beautiful views that would not ispoganen new hotels.

  • Similar to other old walled cities by the sea in this region. You'll find your usual buildings and shops in narrow streets. There is a nice walking path along the ocean as well which is really the highlight of Budva.
  • Nice atmosphere, narrow streets. Lovely place to walk and enjoy your meal.
  • Beautiful old town. I recommend the old, small yet wonderful citadel.
  • Awsome plac3 love it. Definitly worth a visit .
  • Way too touristy and spoilt now. Pockets of quiet back streets but too many cruise visitors and tacky shops
