Old Olive Tree, Bar
(3.4/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
Old Olive Tree is a notable natural feature and a symbol of the city of Bar. Legend has it that in the old days, feuding families would come under the olive tree to make peace. This is how it earned its name--Mirovica, the root of the name meaning peace. The tree is reportedly more than 2,000 years old, and it is one of the oldest olive trees in the world. It has been under state protection since 1957. Make Old Olive Tree part of your personalized Bar itinerary using our Bar vacation trip planner.

  • With her husband after walking through the old Castle went to look at the game. The road goes past the laâŝih boxing dog and smelly garbage can. Go after all these impressions in the wicket and see a single tree. You need to pay kassirše euros 2. Once came such a difficult road, but still paid for entrance, sfotkalis′ turns with olive oil. Went out and noticed that views of the game offers excellent, if not go to it on the part of the old Castle, on the opposite. That is, in fact, you can not even go to the territory of the garden.

  • 15 minutes on foot from the old town. Just an old olive tree, is much more interesting to see her pictures in the Palace of King Nikola, right here at the bar. It is extremely difficult to be selected, it is easiest to have the cashier ask a taxi to the center of the bar.

  • Very interesting place, even we saw it just across the fence, as the area closes in the evening.
  • Just imagine this place 2000 years ago. It s open for the season now. Tariffs remaind unchanged for close up view. Follow the signs for "Stari Masslina" which help to find the way from coastal road Bar - Dobra Voda.
  • Imponujace oliwki, a w okolicy dziki zolwie. Warto zobaczyc
  • An olive tree claimed to be 2000 years old. The place is fenced. Entrance cost 1€ for adults and 50 eurocents for children. Nice sightsee but distant and hard to find.
  • 2240 years old officially
