Admire the typical, well-maintained Socialist style of International Railway Station, a railway hub connecting Mongolia with Russia and China. You'll find many vendors selling a variety of snacks and trinkets, along with a simple restaurant and cafe if you need refreshment. Near the rail platform, you can view several old locomotives on display. A waiting room is also available with heating as well as clean public restrooms. • Station in Ulan Bator is beautiful, I came/went away on the train, so studied it far and wide. It features a currency exchange office (the only one in the city, not counting the exchangers in hotel), there is an ATM machine. Ticket offices are divided into 2 floors-on local travel tickets for sale on the 1 St floor, on international travel-on the second. Train ticket from Irkutsk to Ulan Bator worth 3 times more expensive than a ticket from Ulan Bator to Irkutsk.
