  • This is apparently a popular place. Standing 24m high, the Turtle Rock Formation closely does resemble a turtle. Nearby is a souvenir shop where you can purchase traditional hats, bonnets, etc.  more »

  • The most picturesque part of the Mongolian countryside. A bit overrun by Ger camps but otherwise lovely.
  • Brilliant scenic park but only if they stop building accommodation soon and concentrate on preserving what they have
  • Stunning nature, rock formations! Entry: free.
  • Pristine Countryside in the steps of Mongolia. It is truly another land one that is hard to describe. Clean air which is cool at night. Massive rock formations which are great for rock climbing even for a novice. Good hiking. Excellent for horseback riding.
  • Breathtaking views. Rock boulders in the shape of animals, e.g turtle rock. Sleeping in yurts in unforgettable and uncomparable experience (uncomparable with any other places to sleep on holidays. Just look at my photos presenting folksy atmosphere of inside yurta. At night it looks even more moody: the fire burning in that metal stove makes this space reddish, shadows appear on the roof ... Well, words cannot describe it. Just HIT THE ROAD and go there !!! Won't regret it. /Miros/
