  • First positive experience of Mongolia! A temple that survived the Communist purges of the 1930s...! Renovated by place, the lam themselves there to pray. Count 2bonnes hours of tracks before arriving, but the scenery is beautiful!

  • This temple is lost in the depths of the steppe, and will find you a driver to get there! But after over an hour on a stoned track you will reach in the face of this monastery that sits in the middle of the steppe. A very happy which is worth the detour!

  • The monastery was a great destination of my four-day hike from Darkhan. It is said that the two young men Amar and Bayasgalant searched and there took a worthy place for a monastery in honor of BOGDO Zanabazar in the plain between the hills. It is believed that immediately when you see this wonderful place. The meadows full of Edelweiß, behind the monastery magnificent Ovoos, somewhat hidden two highly visible stupas on the peaks of a decorated source, everything almost symmetrically framed by mountains and encircled by Eagles. The monastery boasts well preserved buildings. You can listen to the chants of the monks, or see them at soccer. I have stopped me two days there and was pleased about every minute. There are two GER camps with all delicious meals for less than 30 euros per day. There were hardly any guests despite best season there. The mini store would protect one from starving to death in an emergency, but otherwise is only used for the vodka supply. For the trip, one can hope to hitch a ride. Otherwise it ran too loose on a day the road Erdenet-Darkhan.
