Stade Louis II, Fontvieille

(3.5/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Home to AS Monaco Football Club, Stade Louis II provides short tours in multiple languages. Opened in 1985, the stadium was built to replace an older stadium on land reclaimed from the ocean. With a seating capacity of 18,500, the stadium is large enough to seat nearly two-thirds of Monaco's population. The tour takes in the multi-sports court, the swimming pool, and the changing rooms where AS Monaco FC prepares for matches. If you're interested in an organized tour, call first, as the website does not always carry accurate information about opening times. Our Fontvieille trip generator makes visiting Stade Louis II and other Fontvieille attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • More than a sports hall is a fitness centre with approximately 2500 places around. Small but comfortable high-back chairs. Is in the back of the mega building on whose roof is the stadium. Small bar. Courteous staff. For a team so ambitious (currently first in the French Championship) could build a better structure, but is rarely sold out, so there is enough interest.

  • Great location but a poor stadium for such a wealthy principality. Atmosphere okay and home fans friendly enough, experience probably spoilt by the result in all fairness. Would like to visit in the s...  more »

  • Worst service i've ever had in my life, waited 1h to buy a sandwich at the cafeteria before the match (ASM-PSG). Frisks are poorly done and half the people pass without being checked, very lax.
  • Very nice outside views from the stadium.
  • Nice stadium. Perfectly fits into landscape of the city.
  • Go ASM!!
  • Uefa Supef Cup !!
