I read so much about how special the stamps are. So it was a plan to send postcards from here. But, post had no postcards and near by shops did not have postcards, so no cards were send from here...

I wouldnt have even known it was a post office if I had not been told. They have several counters its not clear what each does but TBH there is zero point sending any mail outside the country...

Super friendly staff albeit you should speak some Russian or Romanian. The staff knows that tourists come for the rare plastic coins. We were treated with utmost respect and loved the nice flair of the building.

It is the main post office in Tiraspol, where you can buy stamp as well as postcard inside. Also, you may ask the staff there to make change for local plastic coins for you.

Grabbers. Paid delivery of a paid parcel. When will you get drunk? Notifications are not sent! Packages are piling up in the mail! You come without notice, to clarify whether you have come, and they still have the audacity to ask why you don’t come for parcels. Have you tried posting notices?
