  • The visit to the castle is very interesting, this recently rebuilt with funds from the European Union. It has a strategic location controlling the passage on the river which makes border with Ucrania.Las views look at you look at are very nice and worth a climb its towers to descry the ciudad.pero best of all is the story that has lived in this castle, and which so fantastically well explains the guide who takes care of the Castle. Deserve public recognition for his enthusiasm, willingness, and wisdom.

  • Who loves history, and wants to better understand what twists and turns had to make this land boldly go into the fortress on the Dniester, Soroca town. Its small size will not be able to tell you about everything that she saw, if it will not be her caretaker, historian who wrote several books on the region. It is with pleasure to you will tell about who was here, what documents were signed, why it was built just such a form, it is out of such material, and what her examples were taken fortresses builders.

  • Soroca fortress-fortification that stood on the border of the Moldavian Principality, has seen many battles, oberegalo entry on its territory. In its walls visited and Tatars and Turks and the poles and the Russians. But despite all the difficulties that she had gone through, she survived and is today a monument of history and architecture of the Republic of Moldova.

  • Nice piece of history, renovated a few years ago but not so well, with a nice view and a small place to walk near the river. Recommended if you are visiting Moldova. 2.5 hours from Chișinau.
  • The fortress looks nice on the outside, but was closed when I visited. Definitely a summer visit.
  • Best fortress in Moldova, definitely worth visit.
  • Great fort right across the Ukrainian border. The guide there spoke English and had a really great sense of humor.
