Pushkin Museum, Chisinau

(3/5 based on 75 reviews on the web)
The house where Alexander Pushkin spent three years in exile from Russia, Pushkin Museum offers a glimpse into the life of this literary giant. Born into Russian nobility and exiled for his political beliefs, Pushkin wrote his famous poem "The Prisoner of the Caucasus" in this house. Containing writings and drawings by the great poet, the museum spreads across the original cottage and a nearby house. Exhibits include books and paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries, a sculpted bust of Pushkin, and period furnishings. Make sure you have good directions, as the museum is tucked away and can be hard to find. Guides will give you a tour in English or Russian. • Pushkin. To be honest, I read that. But ・materials we learned are interested in seeing handwritten text and drawings (draw a person's face is like like it was). Also, Museum and House lived in different buildings (2 months or so? ) Are showed also was a small two-room house. If you did not open at first, took voice was open. Admission fee: 10 Lei. 10 Ray was taking pictures. Lol once 10 Ray, not a shot was unlimited. I thought this time, like reading a book.

  • A very good Museum, which has preserved the history of Pushkin's sojourn in Moldova. All in excellent condition. Really liked the House itself (rather, House), in which the great poet lived. The courtyard is tidy, beautiful. Museum staff are friendly and attentive, we had a very interesting and informative tour. Thank you very much! Recommend to visit
