  • The Fort in itself is quite impressive. You can also walk the battlements and get a bit of a view of Bender, the bridge that features in the 1992 war footage and the Russian army base. There is also a little museum about the Russian/ Swedish/Turkish wars, and some fun displays on torture methods. Outside the walls there is a monument to Baron von Munchausen. Apparently the idea for escaping by sitting on a cannonball came from here. It looks like their would be quite a lot of outdoor stuff in the summer months (but not in November)
  • Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to spend here, but a superb and colourful history museum, great views and I loved the torture museum
  • Great place, and great memories. Very nice restaurant nearby. Perfect time spent with perfect girl :)
  • Beautiful park, reasonable prices - 25 Transnistrian Rubles.
  • Amazing historic place.
