  • This small museum, made as a tribute to love both the craft and the founder of the family is an attraction that is traditional in Zacatlan, very enlightening and instructive. The people in charge shop. No cost, only suggests a voluntary contribution. Thank you very much Mr Olvera

  • This attraction was one of our goals for a long time and did not disappoint us. The building that houses the factory and Museum outside looks as in Germanic Europe. The entrance is free and guided. At the start the Guide explained to us how the factory was started in 1909 by Mr Alberto Olvera. Then we went to the small factory, which occur only watches monumental or in any case, are not or pulse clocks. There was at that time a clockwise and these measuring more than two metres. We also hear how a few watches that were resistant sounded every 15 minutes, but did run campaigns as 50 cm in height. The first time you rang a frightened us. After visiting the factory we went to the Museum, where exposed watches several times, which bought the owners or were donated by someone else. At the end of the tour there is a small shop where small watches are sold, but in general are of various brands. On the facade of the building, two times a day, on weekends, there's a show of automata, where he leaves an automaton that explains the history of the initiator of the factory and then other automata regional costumes, which were made to celebrate the 100 years of the factory.
