Collected by the Zacatecan artist Rafael Coronel, the pieces are housed in the ruins of the 16th-century Ex-Convento de San Francisco. The building features high beige stone walls and displays elegantly decorated courtyards throughout its interior. Inside, observe more than 16,000 art pieces, including masks, drawings, pots, puppets, musical instruments, and colonial furniture. His collection of masks as "The Face of Mexico" stands as the main exhibit and is considered the largest in the world.   • Mexico alone is not various countries masks are lined with museums. I couldn't believe personal collection and I don't know why so many masks that drew is. Building was once used as a monastery, as well as the rider is exhibit and garden beautiful.

  • Impressive is the variety of masks that has, and they are all from different parts of Mexico. The construction is also very nice and is very well maintained. Must-see!
