Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web
Admire the blend of indigenous and European elements at Cathedral, a World Heritage Site and Zacatecas landmark. The elaborate 18th-century Roman Catholic church dominates the historical city center and represents the seat of the Zacatecas bishop. Observe the elaborate Churrigueresque Baroque style of the pink stone facade, intricately decorated in a lace-like stucco manner. Inside, a somber interior contrasts the ornate facade; don't miss the 24-carat gold leaf altarpiece.
