Collected by the Zacatecan artist Rafael Coronel, the pieces are housed in the ruins of the 16th-century Ex-Convento de San Francisco. The building features high beige stone walls and displays elegantly decorated courtyards throughout its interior. Inside, observe more than 16,000 art pieces, including masks, drawings, pots, puppets, musical instruments, and colonial furniture. His collection of masks as "The Face of Mexico" stands as the main exhibit and is considered the largest in the world.
