Cerro de la Bufa, Zacatecas

4.6
See the city from 2,673 m (8,770 ft) above sea level on a trip up Cerro de la Bufa, a hill just east of the main urban area. The impressive, rugged spot offers uninterrupted views of the colonial city, along with a number of other attractions. Head to the museum at the top to learn about the Mexican Revolutionary War, and the battle that took place on this site in 1914. A chapel, begun in 1548 and completed two centuries later, represents another landmark atop the crest of the bluff, along with a mausoleum of the city's most esteemed citizens, an observatory, and a popular cable railway, connecting the hill to the city. • I recommend taking a tour around the city and to take you to this place. It runs relatively fast, but also you can climb up to the tip of the mountain called la Bufa. The guide will tell you stories of the Foundation of the city as well as other important parts of the history of the city

  • This closed has much to have fun, from above you can see the city, day or night is beautiful. On the day you can get to the cable car or the zip line, can visit the Museum, admire the ancient buildings, souvenirs or eat typical snacks. This place is completely outdoors and there is always windy due to the height. Very nice and interesting.

  • An excellent opportunity to climb the Hill of la bufa on a bus with guide and driver and see from atop the city of Zacatecas. At the top there is an imposing statue of Pancho Villa.
