  • This archaeological site is very beautiful and amazing landscapes. Be sure to take time to have guided to be able to take many photos in this beautiful place. It is necessary to pay the cost of entry and is there a discount for senior citizens and students with ID (in some places enter free with them!). Outside the archaeological area, is the Church and a small flea markets with typical handicrafts.

  • Two must-see tombs during the visit to Oaxaca. The explanation of Mr. Fabian (craftsman and worker of the INAH) is very comprehensive. Bring camera. Photos of the Museum site though small are very valuable and collection of several sites that allow to understand the magnificence of the two tombs. In the highest part of the site there is a rock in the shape of Bowl carved in the bedrock, which seems the Yagul or the Mitla. They could have been used to grind and Cook (like the stock of stone) or for children bathroom. Lack of support from local authorities and broadcasting. And support from INAH to explore the North mound.

  • The archaeological site of Zaachila (Teozapotlan in Nahuatl) is a sample of the legacy of our ancestors Zapotec which, in conjunction with the Mixtecos, became part of the two more great cultures of the South of what is now Mexico. In them it is possible to appreciate a couple of tombs with beautiful architectural ornaments and several mounds with flora of the Valley of Oaxaca. I recommend you to visit the site Thursday it is day of seat. A tour of the market and the Church will complement your visit to the ancient Kingdom of Cosijoeza.

  • An area too small, unfortunately are not there parts that were in the graves, but if it is possible to go down to the two tombs, they are very small but very interesting.

  • Vestiges of the great Zapotec culture, which to date is preserved thanks to the authorities and the community consciousness
