  • The boat ride is very nice and entertaining, between January and March, the place is full of flamingos, which is a beautiful show, the spectacular journey through the mangroves and the divine eye of water! It is worth, the atmosphere is very quiet and pleasant.

  • If you want to live a different experience among the many alternatives that offer the Yucatan definitely need to sovvermarvi in this nature reserve! I went at 11 in the morning about to March a great time to observe the beautiful Flamingos! With a little luck you can even spot some crocodile! I put 4 stars because obviously there are also organized tours, in the sense that it is not possible to pay the locals to visit the biosphere, but you have to check with the various groups that organize! The boats have up to 8 seats and if they can fill all the cost is 150 pesos apiece otherwise with the smaller craft is 200! To capture the right offer definitely need to bargain a bit, for example, I started with a group of 6 people paying 200pesos but taking a tour lasting about 2 hours! The tour includes both a chance to closely observe many fabulous flamingos and a ride in a mangrove forest where there sits a small cenote where you can swim! After your visit if you have appetite I recommend the restaurant La Palapa!
