  • Go to Texolo waterfall, is not expect to find at any time of the year with a stunning waterfall, surrounded by an imposing vegetation than is the forest of fog. Several waterfalls of modest size, are but its beauty and the relaxing of the place, well worth making the viajesito, no matter you are in Xalapa. If you have time, aside from enjoying the travel of the waterfall with its suspension bridge, I mention that I got lost and went to the village of Texolo, and hence to the village of Santa Rosa, where I arrived at the El Mirador restaurant, from where you can see the waterfall, from the other side. In the restaurant you can eat rich and grab a few drinks, a totally relaxing and tasty place.

  • First thing, go with time. And check that time darkens, but will need to carry a lamp. Preferably boots or sneakers for walking on dust, rocks and mud as possible. You have to cross through the entrance to a mini hydroelectric, cross a suspension bridge which has good view of the Canyon and soon (5-10) can be minutes where stops the car to the viewpoint. but more time if you want to get closer to the waterfall and the camp. Worth it worth the trip, enjoy carry water and comida-botana. In the camping and parking there is restaurant.

  • The view and the hike around the waterfall area is very interesting, very well preserved with very few changes for generations, good to enjoy for a chill day walking and walking at your own rhythm with nature.
  • Hermoso lugar!
  • A beautiful place, has vantage point to see the waterfall, quiet, cool under the shade of the trees and that can be fun.
