Military Museum Museum
Explore 18 rooms of interactive displays at Museo Naval Mexico, dedicated to the history of the Mexican navy. Located in a former naval academy, this educational center offers a detailed look at old sailing ship models and a chance to manipulate a helicopter from a turret. Try out the 3D simulator to steer a boat, and look for an exhibit about U.S. attacks on Veracruz. Ask one of the staff's active-duty seaman to show you around, or follow displays (mostly in Spanish). Make Museo Naval Mexico part of your personalized Veracruz itinerary using our Veracruz vacation trip planner.

  • This museum exceed my expectations. There are some naval vehicles in the esplanade where you can enter free but don't miss all the experience.  more »

  • I was lucky enough to pick a Wednesday to visit this museum and that meant that entry was free -- best price of all! Huge number of exhibits and some impressive life-size dioramas brought to life some of the action that the Port of Veracruz has seen in its history. My 12 year old son had a lovely day, with the helicopters being the highlight of his visit The one thing that stood out admirably was the cleanliness and order of EVERYTHING within; Clearly the Naval influence there. Everything was notably "shipshape and Bristol fashion" as we Brits say!
  • Very professional and neat museum. And our tickets were free. An excellent museum to visit if you are walking through Veracruz.
  • Intetesting exhibits. The world map on tbe floor is very nice, though it needs to be repainted.
  • Is so entertaining and interactive ^^
  • Nice Navy museum
