  • Baron Balché as the first wine we chose to visit during our adventure by the Valle de Guadalupe, celebrating precisely that day, my birthday. Not disappointed at all, on the contrary, it was a start on the right foot of a journey that eventually would be wonderful. The place is beautiful, with a restaurant that we not tested, a store boutique wines and interesting articles that take as a souvenir. We went for the tasting of wines and tasted reds 4, 1 young line, which is the mixture of reds, which personally find it me a very short wine and little body, definitely nothing to do with other wines from this House. We tasted 2 wines of your midline, a very good Zinfandel and its special reserve, which is a very interesting mixture of 4 varieties, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvigon, Merlot and Syrah which personally I think is excellent. And finally a wine of its Premium line, a Tempranillo aged in barrels for 40 months that really surprised me pleasantly, of extraordinary quality. With the tasting, which was in a cosy cellar, they included us also a visit by his winery, where we could see the barrels of their wines and bring us some photos of remembrance, our hostess Nayara, gave us a wonderful personalized service that allowed us to fully enjoy our visit, having a very nice time. No doubt this is a must visit for anyone who enjoy high quality wines.

  • It was a good visit, we liked the wine very much. The place is nice, although there are other wineries in the are that are nicer. The selection of wines at the store is very good also the souvenirs. W...  more »
  • They invite you to enjoy of the Valley of Mexicali and a place ideal is the restaurant Tahal of Barin Balché, delicious! Ask for a grilled rib-eye annexed with a red wine GC-2010, wow, that rich, highly recommended! Is not to be missed!

  • I love their wines, the wine tasting and tour are great
  • Beautiful place and nice tour. Wine tasting tour okay but not so much the tasting. They only give you three wines to try per package. Their tempranillo and reserva not as great as other wineries.
  • Unfortunately it was a negative experience. 6 choices of tasting....a confusing mess. We tried the Reserve choice. All 3 wines were very bad. One of the wines were corked and the pourer would not admit it or did not know better. And it was $15! I would persuade anyone to not go there. We went to Adobe Guadelupe afterwards to erase the negative experience and enjoy the Valley to its fullest!
  • EL MEJOR VINITO DEL VALLE LO HASE MI AMIGO JUANITO
  • Their cheese is really good, lovely place and this young girl who I forgot her name which was our guide explained very well about wine and its place.
