Xkeken Tourstation & Jungle Park, Valladolid

(4.1/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
When in Valladolid, you can cool off in Xkeken Tourstation & Jungle Park, a spacious limestone chamber with a natural pool. One of two cenotes in the area, Xkeken is easily accessible and filled with crystal clear, azure water. Drive or cycle from Valladolid to the vast cavern, where you can swim and snorkel in the large sinkhole. The shady cove offers a great getaway from the heat, while interesting stalactites hanging from the ceiling, sprinkled with rays of sunshine, add to the cenote's pleasant aesthetic. • That place is near the town of Valladolid. The cenote is incredible! The water is refreshing and gives you the sense of swimming in a cave. Cute!

  • The cenote is an incredible place, worth knowing it. What ami I do not like is that want you to charge for everything; pay my entry and a girl told me that would take me to the cenote, but does not tell you if you can get on your own, as you enter say... "I am the person responsible for carrying its cenote..." Subsequent to the cenote asks gratuity, which to my I bother, because in addition to paying for the entry I had to give tips for something that is not indicated anywhere. Bath person also called tip, at the beginning of Park take you a photo to try to sell it to you (this course is optional). If you do not arrive by car, the way is a collective taxi, which charges $30 p/p, and the terminal is next to ADO
