  • Our bus tour of Chichen Itza stopped here on the way back to the Riviera Maya for about 45 minutes. Good photo opportunities at the Plaza and church across the street. I think the church was begun in ...  more »
  • The town square! Place of Exchange, of life. day and night this place is very nice and out of time. Not to be missed! This is the heart of the city.

  • Change of bus I had time, I dropped by. It is nothing but small park. This is where the atmosphere was loose, unlike for Cancun.

  • Plaza de armas pintoresca, influencia colonial , acogedor.
  • Nice park to chill and eat some local treats. This is literally the center of the city so if it's happening anywhere it's happening here. Surrounded by the park are multiple good local places to eat and relatively inexpensive. Highly suggest visiting this park even if you're just passing through.
  • It's a cute small town with good eats and gifts to buy. It's also close to many mayan sites with checking out. It's also not inundated with tourists. Lots of local charm.
  • Beautiful old plaza which really comes alive at night. The trees are illuminated, there are people out and about, and there is music and street vendors. A really beautiful place.
  • Muy bonita plaza, muy típico.
