Parque X'keken, Valladolid
(4.2/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
When in Valladolid, you can cool off in Parque X'keken, a spacious limestone chamber with a natural pool. One of two cenotes in the area, Xkeken is easily accessible and filled with crystal clear, azure water. Drive or cycle from Valladolid to the vast cavern, where you can swim and snorkel in the large sinkhole. The shady cove offers a great getaway from the heat, while interesting stalactites hanging from the ceiling, sprinkled with rays of sunshine, add to the cenote's pleasant aesthetic. See Parque X'keken and all Valladolid has to offer by arranging your trip with our Valladolid itinerary builder.

  • Entrance to the cenote was pricier than some other local places, but not bad. Walking in, you feel like you've entered a small theme park though many shops and restaurants were closed during our visit...  more »
  • We are lovers of the cenotes and this is definitely special. It has magic and is a beautiful place to visit. Super very energizing and cold water! that you enjoy it and don't miss it!

  • We made the mistake of arriving at 5:45 in the afternoon to the cenote (winter time) and it was already getting dark, vain asked on arrival if he looked good when it was already getting dark, and in order to sell people's reports said that everything was very enlightened and looked very good... They saw nothing on four spotlights and 20 are off. In order to collect input them is worth the experience of tourists... it's a shame because because otherwise charge 100 pesos per person it is very expensive to charge them for something that you don't see or soil that you step worse. What a shame that they thus exploit the tourist areas of this country. If it were not for the natural beauty care and service is crap
