  • Cenote really quiet and still not too experienced. She is really beautiful and cheap 70 pesos. If you want to a zen place c is here.

  • We went on a very rainy day But it was quite still enjoyable. We only did the cenote. Make sure you try the rope! You can view the cenote from the top as well. I’m sure on a sunny day it must be beaut...  more »
  • Amazing cenote with a rope swing to jump into the water. Hours of fun to be had here. Probably the best cenote we went to while in Mexico. Pool and restaurant/bar makes it a must do while in or near V...  more »

  • Simply beautiful refreshing warm water. A nice little trip down a gravel road to well kept property that offers this cenote. There is a swimming pool, music, and a place for you to eat. People were nice too. Thank you.
  • Great cenote. Reasonable prices. If you stay the whole day you can convert part of the entrance fee into consumption. Cenote is 20m deep from top to water level and water is 40m deep. You can jump and use a rope swing. Fun experience and nice location.
  • Absolutely don't go. This one is built on top of a dump (literally-- dozens of vultures a quarter mile down the road), and the road out is really bad news. The grounds are nice enough but the price has tripled in the last 2 years. There are so many other cenotes around...you can do far better than this place.
  • We had an unbelievable trip to the Hacienda San Lorenzo Oxman. After getting a cab for about 15 mins from Valladolid Square we came to the Hacienda down a long dirt road which is inaccesible by large vehicles (such as tour busses). Once we arrived at the gorgeous cenote there was only 5 people swimming at one time. The water was extremely refreshing after a hot day walking around Chichen Itza and climbing the ruins of Ek Bellem. The water is a clear blue with lots of catfish mulling about. There is a rope swing and many diving areas in addition to this. We stayed until close at which point we were offered a lift back to Valladolid by a member of staff! Overall I cannot recommend enough!
  • We visited Hacienda San Lorenzo Oxman based on the reviews and we were not disappointed!! There were very few people, no big tour buses here. Water is incredible! Vivid blue and clear. Not a ton of fish, but some black colored fish. The water is a little cool, but refreshing. We took the by pass out there. No signs off the highway. It is a dirt road and you have to drive by the dump....but it is worth it! The property and building are incredibly beautiful. There is a swimming pool and bar. The bar has substantial snacks, like a huge pile of nachos with beans, cheese, jalapenos!. Beer, margaritas. We will be back :)

Where to stay in Valladolid

Valladolid offers an impressive range of budget-friendly accommodations, with very reasonable prices for comfortable hotels that would be much more expensive in other Mexican destinations. Parque Francisco Canton, at the very heart of the city's central grid, contains small, affordable hotels within walking distance of the best Valladolid attractions. You can also look on the western fringes of town, where you'll find several places to stay near the meeting point of routes 180 and 79.
