  • Eye, do not think that this place is the eighth wonder to learn the secrets of the tequila, instead it is a brief explanation of as it is the distillation of the blue agave procedure to produce an alcoholic beverage who by designation of origin can not call you tequila but which is practically the same (obviously not with the plus of a tequila House of renowned quality). The walk takes 20 minutes, concluding with a tasting of 5 types of "Tequila". It is not the big thing but what is salvageable is the kindness of the girl who made us walk and that is a handcrafted product that just little thing in Yucatan and perhaps with wider dissemination can become something bigger.

  • Mayapán agave distillery is a beautiful and interesting visit, there they explained to us how to prepare tequila and we got to try the excellent drink there by hand prepared, few people and very nice Betty our guide.
