  • Wow what a treat to have a cenote in city center. The cenote is quite different from the others, with a nice cave. The water is clear and there are some great spots for cliff jumping. 30 pesos is the ...  more »
  • Our hotel was only 5 minutes away from this cenote, so it was perfect to cool down after a long and hot day.  more »
  • We visited Cenote Zaci October 16 if any doubt you're in Valladolid is worthwhile to pass to know this beautiful Cenote in the midst of the Valladolid, to go down, you feel the humidity and slowly look at the interior of the cenote, this clean and small fish col or black, if you eat the rest Zaci is free of charge, but if you want to know only the cenote has a cost of $30 pesos

  • We ordered 3 different chicken dishes and only one (Zaci special) was good, one was so-so and one was extremely spicy but no one bothered to warn us. The staff seemed not very helpful. When we finished and asked how to get free cenote entrance, we were told to go through the restaurant and crawl under the chain that was covering the path down. Then after the food, swimming in cenote and 1.5 hour car ride my 12 year daughter got really sick although I'm not sure which of these things caused it.
  • Really cool cenote in the city. Only 30 pesos to get in. You can jump off the far side where there is no railing. Good 25-30' drop.
  • Great place. Refreshing swim. And right in town.
  • Right in the middle of the town there's this amazing water sinkhole. It's really big and water is so clear and refreshing.
  • M$30 and you may dive into this wonderful cenote from up high! It is teeming with catfish. The nice kind of catfish which move out of the way. Not the catfish who steal your social media profile. Would definitely recommend this place.

Where to stay in Valladolid

Valladolid offers an impressive range of budget-friendly accommodations, with very reasonable prices for comfortable hotels that would be much more expensive in other Mexican destinations. Parque Francisco Canton, at the very heart of the city's central grid, contains small, affordable hotels within walking distance of the best Valladolid attractions. You can also look on the western fringes of town, where you'll find several places to stay near the meeting point of routes 180 and 79.
