  • Visited this place in January, closer to closure (came to 3:00 pm) and people there almost wasn't that very nice neighborhood to walk and take pictures without crowds of people quite a large complex, on one of the pyramids you can climb. If you travel by car, I advise to visit this place. There is a hotel and restaurant

  • Uxmal for me was the most beautiful site I have visited. Our guide Pedro explained very well all the structures and the Mayan culture. The site is very nice and not crowded like other sites. Inside don't find talking bathrooms talking stalls (bring enough water).

  • What a fantastic place! The buildings are not only in excellent condition but you can also move up or almost anywhere within view (great temple). Very suitable for children. Less visitors than chitzen itza and no sales stalls. Starting from the rear high temple you have a fantastic view of the complex. The stairs is quite steep, watch out with descend;)

  • Ancient Mayan City that you can actually walk around and experience - it's like traveling in time! We had an excellent tour guide who explained the social functions and symbolism of all the breathtaking architecture. Highly recommended
  • Phenomenal site, with freedom to actually explore the ruins, instead of gazing from behind the rope. Large area and astonishing Mayan architecture. Went on two different occasions and still haven't seen all it has to offer.
  • huge site. not crowded. clear blue skies made for great pictures. if you forget your hat they are selling right out front. its a scorcher there. take a bottle of water. not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. i would be nervous with children climbing the pyramid
  • My favourite ruins in the Yucatan. Not overcrowded and a vendor isn't trying to sell you something every few feet. It's peaceful to walk through with shade and iguanas scurrying about. It's a postcard worth visiting for yourself.
  • Incredible ruins and wildlife! Go early (opens at 8am) to be able to take photos without people in them! We saw amazing birds, tons of iguanas and even a huge snake!
