Find the perfect coastal activity for you at Ziggy Beach, a developed tourist beach. The waters provide a popular place for windsurfers and boogie boarders, with businesses on the shore renting out equipment. The beach itself has fine white sand, well maintained by the local resorts, who also rent out hammocks, sunbeds, and lounge chairs. Head to the onsite beach bar to sample a good range of cocktails and freshly prepared meals, as you take in the sea views from under the shade of the veranda. • Our hotel (in Tulum pueblo) told us that we could park there if you consume on the spot. It has not had to force! The cocktails were great, the ideal place to enjoy Tulum Beach, and reasonable prices. The total foot!

  • We loved Ziggy's Beach. Got 12 Coronas, 2 margaritas, a couple liters of water and 3 entrees for only around $110 USD. They have a $30 USD per person minimum to stay on their beach and it's so worth i...  more »

  • We were staying in town so we wanted somewhere to spend the day on the beach and Ziggy was perfect! There was parking and sat beds available. Jesus was our server and he made the day flawless with being a very attentive server. We spent 5 hours laying on the day bed. The food, drinks and service were spot on. Look forward to coming back!
  • Al fresco dining on the beach, under palm trees with live music from a Mexican band playing dinner music. More reasonably priced than most of the beach side restaurants along the strip, but the food was beautifully presented and delicious. We were served by a lovely waitress from France who was very welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect and provided us with the best dining experience of our time in Tulum.
  • The service and servers were great, the beach was great, good food, nice drinks, vegan options. I have one complaint, the bill is always higher than you think it will be. We spent 2 days at this beach club and both days we were surprised by the bill. We rechecked it and were NOT over charged. It's just a pricey place. Although, you do get what you pay for. We tried another, cheaper, beach club after our first visit here and came back to Ziggy's, knowing it was pricey. Our servers were Jorge and Tadeo. They were both awesome! A side note - don't pay any more than 50 pesos for a fresh coconut from a beach vendor! 50 is still high.
  • We spent a beautiful day at this beach club. The service was very good, the food was excellent, and the restrooms were clean. The beach itself was a typically wonderful Mexican beach. The only thing I would like to be different is for them to offer umbrellas and for them to prohibit smoking on the beach.
  • Very nice with great amenities like showers in the washrooms if you're doing the beach club. The menu is small and Americanized, in my opinion. Cocktails were great and interesting. They have a min USD spend per person for the beach club and it seemed on the high side around $70USD/pp. All in all very nice with lovely staff, but you can get better food, prices, etc. at other beach clubs on the strip.

Where to stay in Tulum

Most accommodations in Tulum make the most of the region's scenic coastline, offering sea views and easy beach access along the coastal Route 15. This area, known as the Hotel Zone, includes everything from basic, budget-friendly "cabanas" (beach shacks) to large-scale beach resorts. For proximity to the town's famous Mayan ruins, stay at the northern end of this coastal stretch. If you want easier access to amenities and ongoing connections, look to the township itself, located a short drive from the beach.
