  • When I was in Tulum tourist office guides offered me various Cenotes, usually large and expensive. Some looked like to of the carton-pates and could be built by Disney for one of its amusement parks (amazing, just good for the tens of thousands of American tourists who invade the Yucatan). I preferred to ask a Taxi to take us to a Cenote without tourist or almost. And good surprise it has led us to Zacil Ha, a wonderful small Cenote lost in the forest, taking the ESRB Coba road. The scenery is superb, exceptional water color, she is sweet and cold. I could jump and make bombs. There are few people and very few tourists. Ideal to enjoy a denotes.

  • Wonderful after a long day of Mayan ruins. Water was refreshing and the staff was very friendly. I think it was 140 pesos. Towels were 20 pesos.
  • The day we went there was barely any people there, the water is beautiful clear and refreshing and it was super fun jumping into it.
  • It's a very countryside experience. They have cabins for rent, enjoy the pool and of course... the cenote! It's a small cenote, not too deep (4 feet) even though for children is advisable to wear the life vest jacket that they rent there.
  • Good spot for a dip! A bit cold but worth it. Check out the caves off on the sides.
  • Beautiful water and had a blast. Good n drinks were a plus

Where to stay in Tulum

Most accommodations in Tulum make the most of the region's scenic coastline, offering sea views and easy beach access along the coastal Route 15. This area, known as the Hotel Zone, includes everything from basic, budget-friendly "cabanas" (beach shacks) to large-scale beach resorts. For proximity to the town's famous Mayan ruins, stay at the northern end of this coastal stretch. If you want easier access to amenities and ongoing connections, look to the township itself, located a short drive from the beach.
