From the grotto, waterfall, tunnel, River and thermal pozitas, this place takes the best of nature to enjoy relaxed in its warm waters. If you're travelling takes your precautions that is filled with butt and probably not reaches hotel (unfortunately do not make reservations) but you can camp. Only accept cash so he also wears that prepared. If you go on Sunday, you can try a delicious barbecue pit just preparing that day, however if what you want is to relax, between Monday and Wednesday.
We took the Ovnibus (like a Greyhound Bus, 165 pesos) from Mexico City (Terminal Central del Norte) to the town of Ixmiquilpan & stayed the night there. The next day, we walked to the market area of t... more »
Such a beautiful place. It's a hidden gem in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. Definitely recommend if you want to get away from the city life. It's about 40min away from the nearest village and it is very unlikely to get any phone reception. The hotel offers basic amenities such as light, running water, and one plug to charge a phone or camera battery. But don't be discourage as mother nature has lots to offer. There are beautiful waterfalls, hiking trails, and caves. The food isn't to great, but if you are willing to drive there are plenty of vendors outside that serve some of the most authentic traditional food in the region. Give a try, you won't regret it!
This little place is very beautiful and funny, natural and artificial atractions to swim,is a cheaper option for fun or relax time, thermal waters, in the middle of mountains... Very secure place, security is working 24 hrs to you. Low cost room or suites/hotel/swiming pool Low cost dinner and good quality ... Family concept/for all ages...
This place is a little piece of heaven, hidden away in the mountains of Hidalgo. Go early if you want to try and get a hotel room at one of the local hotels (they dont take reservations). Or pack a tent and some camping gear and rough it. Either way be prepared to see amazing scenery, and warm water.
Lugar para relajar. Agua cliente pero no tanto, lugar increíble. Hay lugar para hacer tirolesa, caminata y asador. Todo es bastante limpio. Hay señal solo telcel. El camino es un poco peligroso manejar en la noche por las cuevas.
Everything was beautiful but the lack of info they provided about the rooms and the camping would be nice of it was on grass not concrete. You pretty much have to go before 8 am to get a room. Bring water shoes bc there is a lot of rocks along the water
