  • A great place where we pay to make Mexican and cultural festivals and large events. Consists of nearly thousand square meters of extension, built 1885 by Rev. Fray Luis Argüello, who at the end of the three-year war had desires to open a hospital in a chapel which also serve as a retreat house. The architectural work operated mostly as a hospital for many wars that took place, until in 1979 the hospital closed and was abandoned. Until in 1983 he opened its doors to the public once more, with the intention of turning it into a House of culture. Today you can visit its numerous halls that have become the best artisans of Mexico exhibition centers, or you can also do guided night walks, in which guides acting you scenes from the legends of colonial era and independence that circulated around the refuge. CLEAR THAT WHAT I RECOMMEND! Good trip...

  • Inside there are classes of all kinds, there are works, expos and events almost every day, but if not you can walk the courtyards without problem, go up to the roof and get a nice view of the temples at the center of Tlaquepaque and visit the library that there is.
