Delve into the country's cultural heritage at Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). Since first opening its doors in 1982, the center has gained a reputation as one of the leading cultural venues in the region, with new technologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and a varied program of events, activities, and exhibits. The most iconic aspect of the center has to be the OMNIMAX cinema (aka "The Ball"): the spherical, 308-seat theater uses a 360-degree projector, surrounding the audience with a panoramic image. Elsewhere on site, a theater and music stage, garden, museum, and galleries provide plenty of entertainment and education for visitors of all ages.
