Delve into the country's cultural heritage at Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT). Since first opening its doors in 1982, the center has gained a reputation as one of the leading cultural venues in the region, with new technologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and a varied program of events, activities, and exhibits. The most iconic aspect of the center has to be the OMNIMAX cinema (aka "The Ball"): the spherical, 308-seat theater uses a 360-degree projector, surrounding the audience with a panoramic image. Elsewhere on site, a theater and music stage, garden, museum, and galleries provide plenty of entertainment and education for visitors of all ages. • Great museum, very educational. Highly recommended for families. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with fair prices.
  • Since he was a child he went to the CECUT, I remember many walks from school, as well as family visits. The place has an aquarium, a film library, a dome imax, a botanical garden, a room for events are usually where Theatre, a Museum, library and more space. Personally, my favorites are the Imax dome and the Cineteca, the first one that projected good things, from Santa and snow monkey to laser shows of different groups (Daft Punk, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead,) among others, tickets are very affordable and if you are a student or teacher, will do you a discount of 50% think. The cineteca I like more because they project good art film movies, documentaries, among others. also has a front room where sell snacks, popcorn, sodas, juices, waters and even beer!. That there not finished, they can enter to salt your snack with your beer in hand. It has no equal!.

  • It is a very complete culture; It has a beautiful theatre, exhibition rooms, a small Aquarium, a library and a mega screen. In addition to two very nice cafes. In the care give you a card, with which the tourists make them discounts on different establishment of the city.
