3.4/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Whether you are looking to shop, eat, or bodysurf, Playas de Tijuana boasts something for everyone on this busy stretch of sand. Because the beach is typically filled with both tourists and locals, arrive early if you need to rent an umbrella or sun lounger. You can participate in water sports like surfing, bodyboarding, and kayaking here, but be aware that water conditions can turn challenging after it rains. Look for the towering wall along the north end that marks the border with the United States. Using our world travel planner, Tijuana attractions like Playas de Tijuana can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Beaches of Tijuana is an excellent site that you know is literally the corner of Mexico are very good places besides the beach for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as local places where you can take a drink very fun place where will return because you need more than one weekend to get to know you and when you know every time you want to repeat the experience

  • I was very fascinated by the enormous steel barrier dividing the border between Tijuana and San Diego, right down to the sea on playa de Tijuana. Worth a splurge, the typical promenade of Mexico, and the hardness of this boundary, which leaves once a month to access an intermediate area between the two territories ... to bring together those who are on one side and the other.
