  • I was very disappointed the first time we went here. We were next door waiting for a dentist so thought it would be good shopping. But fresh fruits and vegtables, mounds of spices, chilis, candies and...  read more »

  • Mercado Hidalgo is an emblematic and almost obligatory for visitors domestic and international... The great variety of products and services gives you a special bonus to the place. Products from different parts of our country are what you'll find in this place with history and tradition, noble people and worker are that make up partners and tenants. The food is exquisite to be à la carte or run. As well as the offer of life gourmet and its variety of baking with typical and traditional sweets. A place where there was even the presentation of folk dance and excellent singers coordinated by a businessman and representative of local talent... If no.conoces Mercado Hidalgo, don't know Tijuana.

  • What a great place to shop traditional Mexican food products! Great produce, kitchen supplies, cheeses galore, candy & all kinds of piñatas, herbs/spices, tasty treats, knick knacks & more! It's an adventure I never get tired of. I love this place!
  • Touristy setting with tourist prices. To be fair, vendors are always at the ready to negotiate better prices so you can score. Customers service is exceptional (we love our tourist) with every vendor.
  • Love this place. The fresh fruit, coconut, tamales, raspados, carnitas, Mexican food, candy and there is a place that sells pan de feria they have awesome empanadas.
  • Encontre coyules que ya tenia muuucho tiempo sin comerlos
  • Cool market! I got cheese at La Cava Del Queso. Then we went to Jarritos locos, also known as I think Los Jarritos. I got frutas locas, which is peanuts, chile, lemon, cucumber, pineapple, orange and chamoy. I think I got that right. Stay away from Frutas Locas if you can't handle the heat, it is crazy hot! You should of course make so you get peso before coming here. Sometimes if you use US dollars they rip you off. It was funny seeing a Rainbow Dash pinata. Maybe I'll get some mexican candy next time I come to TJ.
