Avenida Revolucion, Tijuana

(1.9/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web)
Take a walk through the touristic center of the city on Avenida Revolucion, a main thoroughfare with plenty of history. In the early 20th century, the town's first paved road drew day-trippers from San Diego, and at the height of the Depression, it provided entertainment and alcohol banned or unavailable in the U.S. It was here that the Caesar salad was invented, at a restaurant called Hotel Caesar. The strip has had ongoing struggles with crime and poverty, but business appears to be picking up again, and the atmosphere remains as lively and hedonistic as ever. • We Park the car American side just before the Mexican border (planned parks), you walk a few minutes to reach the border following the marked route and are already in the city. While the order prevails on the American side, it kinda a mess (in every sense of the word) on the Mexican side. There is something for everyone: shops, bar, restaurants. Select and filter then. Tourists are the financial windfall of all this people.
