  • In a visit to Tepoztlán is mandatory a beer in any job market, taste any corn tortilla, observe the gender they sell or buy typical handicrafts in the area. A purely Mexican captive.

  • It is not of the best known tourist destinations (in fact I came by a few friends who live in Cuernavaca) but like all of the magical peoples of Mexico, worth a visit. Especially if what is sought is the native and not only how prepared for tourists. All Tepoz is worthy to be visited, for its history and craftsmanship. For the more adventurous, climbing the Tepozteco is an activity that should not be lost; and for the more adventurous, a few rich quesadillas with grasshoppers in the market.

  • Best quesadillas I've tried. The itacates filled with ricotta cheese and my favorites. The enchilada steak tacos were favorites of my boyfriend no doubt any regresariamos to enjoy the gastronomy of the "magical town"

  • You can find just about everything here. Fruit you can eat today or in a week depending on how fresh you want it. All the meat and cuts you want and also stop by for breakfast at the same time. Highly recommend it!
  • This is a classic local market but the prices are high. They have a good selection of spices. As tip the hardware store it's open on Sundays
  • Of all the neighborhoods I've lived in, Mercado Medellin is by far the best neighborhood market I've ever lived near. So much selection, including higher quality (and cheaper) produce than you'll find in the grocery store and lots of high-end goods. There's even a place with a microbrew selection that rivals many import stores, and you can find tons of South American and Asian cuisine items as well (I still would recommend MiKasa for Asian cuisine needs).
  • A super market where you can find so many Colombian stuff. There is also so many Mexican stuff sold here. RECOMMENDED!
  • Meche and Rafael’s meat stand at the Mercado Medellín in La Roma (Local 349) carnitas (Saturdays only) and chicharrón.
