  • Is a city located to some 80 km of Guadalajara and that remains of step between the capital and the area of the Bajio. Very quiet compared with Guadalajara. People can go walking through its streets, sit quietly and listen to the band play on Thursdays and Sundays at the Center, eating a corn or a snow while the children play or simply relax and admire the panorama. It has good restaurants in the center that tourists do not know; There is one right next to the main temple where they sell pizza, lunch, hamburgers and stuff at a good price and delicious, with Service (also a hotel); or half a block up there is another where it sells things similar, but choicest and a little more comfortable. It is the market where you can also eat very well and there are some food stalls, as chopped fruit, tamales, corn on the cob, the famous snows of yogurt, the guazanas, churros, tacos (there are many very good tacos) and outside the centre there are more places to eat, but if they have no chance to get away from the Center, not lost much, in the Center there are to choose from. It no longer has many old houses or are considered world heritage, most have fallen and now they are parking lots, but is the Museum, which has a permanent exhibition with objects of the first settlers of the Cristiada and some relics, and there are also invited exhibitions, sometimes painting, of sculpture, etc. If you are shopping, the Center is fraught with shops of clothes, for all tastes and pockets. There are shoe stores, equal for all budgets, though the best is the oldest, has more than 50 years, and they sell shoes that last eternities, magician, is called a half block from the main temple. On the market sold hand-made sandals and many crafts. It has many hotels and are for all budgets, most in the Center and you don't have to walk a lot to explore the historic centre. Although is a city that starts to take off, is can see that goes in road to the modernity but not leaves their estate and retains the tranquility of a village.

  • An incredible place to live or visit, where his people are very nice and friendly. In addition there is a very important economic development, it could be said that the best in Jalisco.

  • Tepatitlan Center is very safe and very walkable. Always happens something interesting in the public square, either the band or regional dance samples. I also recommend going to the Thrifty Hill which is almost opposite the main square kiosk
