Ek Balam Mayan Ruins, Temozon
Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Transport yourself back in time as you admire the ancient and sophisticated Ek Balam Mayan Ruins, built well over 2000 years ago. A lesser-known and smaller ruin than others in the area, but no less impressive, the complex rarely gets busy, leaving you to explore on your own terms, and even climb the ruins themselves. Consider taking a guide with you to get the most out of the complex, and get a better impression of what life here was like all those years ago. Don’t forget your camera, bug spray, sunscreen, and plenty of water to keep you hydrated while you wander around the ruins.
