Zocalo, Taxco

4.6
#2 of 17 in Things to do in Taxco
Watch the world pass by as you sip coffee in the city’s main plaza, known as Zocalo. On the north side sits Casa Borda, the most important non-religious building in the city. The house is now used for teaching and other activities. The rest of the plaza is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and silver shops. Cobbled streets lead off from the plaza, with the street of Cuauhtemoc containing many of the area’s best restaurants and bars. Del Arco street heads towards the popular shopping and market area. This spot provides a good place to embrace the relaxed culture of the local Mexican culture. Add Zocalo and other attractions to your Taxco trip itinerary using our Taxco travel planning tool .

It is required in our country destinations. Famous for its silverware. There is great variety and prices of gift but you have to find since there are places that sell you the same up to 5 times more expensive watch and is listed in several parts but you can find from Silver earrings with Swarovski Crystal 50 ideal weights for gifts. It is impossible to ride a car by the inclined streets by it should walk. A guide gave us many tips but always be cautious and use your common sense already q the led us to place silver carisimo obvious that we not buy there.

Taxco socket is actually very small and is almost always full of people and vendors, the Church is beautiful and if you see from above the sight of Taxco is awesome, I loved to spend time enjoying the food and the view at the same time the beauty of the city in the middle of nature though honestly I like go to the cable car and see the view from the top.

A place to look back in time and try to figure it out how Mexico turned into what it's now. Lovely and delicious Mexican food available around this square.
