Sayulita Beach, Sayulita

(3.8/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Go off the beaten path at Sayulita Beach, a laid-back destination in the eponymous surfer village. The shallow water and gentle waves make the beach a good place for families and children, as well as those learning how to surf. Walk on the warm white sand, laze in a hammock, or indulge in a variety of snacks sold by beach vendors. While it's fun to sit back and watch the surfers glide on the waves, be aware that the beach gets crowded on the weekends and holidays. Before you head to Sayulita, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Sayulita vacation builder, to make sure you see all that Sayulita has to offer, including Sayulita Beach.

  • Sayulita has gotten much more crowded over the years, and touristy. The surf lessons are great. It's hard to get a decent chair or place to lounge. In my opinion it's good for a day or 2, then you may...  more »

  • A great beach if you want to surf or watch surfing while having a tasty lunch on the beach. Too many people to be a relaxing spot to sunbathe but worth checking out.
