Lake Zirahuén is a small endorheic lake in the Municipality of Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán state of west-central Mexico.Lake Zirahuén is a small, deep mountain lake, with a sandy bottom that is partially covered with mud.At times Lake Zirahuén has been part of an open and continuous hydrological system formed by Lake Cuitzeo, Lake Pátzcuaro and Lake Zirahuén, which drained into the Lerma River. Today, like lakes Cuitzeo and Pátzcuaro, it is a closed basin, although ecologists consider it a sub-basin of the Lerma-Chapala basin. The Zirahuén Allotica (Allotoca meeki), a Goodeid fish, is endemic to lake Zirahuén.

  • If you are relaxing person then this is a place for you its an amazing view of Zirahuens lake you can also take boat rides and enjoy the lake.
  • Lake is beautiful, has a view magnificent and this very clean, the return is only for input output, since although the Lake worth, much is missing more investment, the village is really small there is more to do, since it does not offer return boat until there is no more people, not there are terraces to sit or camping and admire closely the Lake There is not any guide or anything like that, in my opinion, the day that the Government or the people responsible for the Lake a little reverse that day is known as the truly beautiful dara that is.
