  • I love this Church not only for architecture and artsy frescoes, but the peace I felt when entering in the middle of a mass and the priest smiling at me, and look: I'm not even Catholic.

  • One of the churches most beautiful Puebla. Unfortunately it is not always open to the public. It invites meditation and prayer.

  • Maximum jewel in Talavera of Mexico arriving at this church the first thing that fills eyes is the facade full of work alarifes and poblanos potters, who masterfully covered the facade of the temple with Talavera ceramic pieces made by hand, so it is worth getting a good time there admiring every detail. So this well lit façade, I recommend going in the afternoon, already that the Sun gives you front. In the same way inside the Church is a masterpiece Baroque stucco covered with gold leaves. The temple suffered a fire on December 31, 1939, in which lost its wonderful carved altarpieces in cedar wood, which gave prestige of being one of the five most beautiful temples in Latin America. The Church of San Francisco de Acatepec was rebuilt in 1941. So wonderful is their beauty that has been part of movies, and especially one that is my favorite "Enamorada" Mexican film starring by María Felix and Pedro Armendáriz
